Method Writing
Method Writing is a seven-level writing course developed by Jack Grapes, LA’s award-winning, playwright and former member of Chicago’s Second City Improvisational Theatre. It is based on Stanislavski Method Acting, which emphasizes inner truth. In a similar way, Method Writing offers a unique approach to finding your inner truth, identifying your deep voice, and to developing a style based on your own rhythms and dynamics.
Method Writing will help you tap into themes and subjects that lie at the core of your life and imagination. You will learn a set of valuable techniques that will revitalize your writing, change the way you approach your work as an artist and bring your poems, stories, novels, memoirs, plays, and screenplays to life.
